Sobre este artículo

Wellingborough: Patrick Stephens Ltd. Near Fine in Very Good- dust jacket. 1986. First Edition. Hardcover. 0850597757 . Dark blue boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket, which is price-clipped. There is very light rubbing to the bottom of the board's spine. There is edge-wear, creasing and scratch marks to the dustjacket covers. There are several closed tears to the dustjacket which are neatly repaired to the inside with clear archive tape. There is very light fading to the base colour of the spine although the lettering is still bright and clear. There are NO inscriptions or other marks. 320 pp. Illustrated with b/w plates and b/w diagramatic endpapers of the ship. Five Appendices; Index. Overall, apart from the 'faults', as detailed above, this is a Tight and Secure, 'Very Good' copy. "In her brief life the Titanic, at the time of her launch the world's largest man-made moving object, inspired huge excitement and speculation. Today, 100 years since she sank with the loss of more than 1,500 lives, public interest continues undimmed. No-one, whatever the reasons for their interest in the Titanic, will be able to put this outstanding and beautifully written book down for long." Please note that this book is overweight and very heavy at 1.8Kg and MAY require extra postage depending on your location. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
