New York: McGraw-Hill Book Company, 1960. Hardcover. 4to. Black and brown cloth with gilt lettering and decoration, pictorial dust jacket. 265pp, (13pp). Numerous illustrations. Fine/very good. Quite minor jacket edgewear. A superb, tight first edition of this survey of (to quote front jacket panel) "The Tobacco Custom in America from Early Colonial Times to the Present with more than 300 illustrations" -- and this lovely copy had laid in a printed "Complimentary Copy" slip from The Tobacco Institute of Washington, DC and also their 8vo 12pp pamphlet "Wisconsin & Tobacco" in pristine condition.
