Sobre este artículo
London: Chapman and Hall, 1859. 1st Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. Binding is secure. 332 pp with 100 illustrations by Author. A gift inscription by the Author is on a sheet which has been tipped into the book - "Will you accept this little volume as a slight mark of esteem from a quiet man who feels more than he says - and who knows how to value a friend". Another gift inscription signed by the author is on the half-title page. This inscription was crossed out and the "x" mark used to cross it out subsequently partially erased. Coverboards have some wear at top and bottom of spine. Cloth on spine has a 3" split at front starting at top of book. Corners bumped. Nicely designed book plate on fep. A few other names and another gift inscription on first few pages. Front hinge visible at half-title page and rear hinge visible at rear endpaper. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Sobre Bibliodditiques
Thank you for visiting the home page of BIBLIODDITIQUES - specializing in children's literature, non-fiction, and rare and antiquarian books. This year marks my 12th anniversary in the book trade. I am a graduate of the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (2009) and a member of the IOBA (International Online Booksellers Association). I take pride in offering books that are of the same quality that I like to see in my own private collection. Books I sell must meet my own high standards of condition, which generally requires that the binding be tight, dust jackets be intact, and that there be no major defects. I do not offer books that are ex-library copies, unless they are hard to find in any condition. Customer satisfaction is very important to me. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and to send you photos of my listings upon request. Your patronage is greatly appreciated.
