Perfectly unsophisticated publishers bindings - uniform, mauve, pebbled cloth, blind-stamped. Some cocking, some abrasion to front cover on second volume. Like a pair of sturdy old, comfortable shoes, showing natural age and wear. (No names, inscription, or bookplates which is unusual for the period).
