The decorative gilt is 22k, and the paper is 50-pound Franklin Library Smooth Natural. Franklin's as-always lavish binding, here for Henry Fielding's picaresque 1749 novel - deemed one of the earliest, if not the earliest, of English true novels - which made FL's list of the 100 best ever. The Franklin Library, doing what they did best. Protectively archived, hence handsomely preserved. Please review scans.
