Incredible Near Fine condition on this FIRST EDITION, first printing (listing to self ion back cover, self-summary in front matter) from 1965 of Book #26 in the second Tom Swift series, which was comprised of 33 volumes written under the pseudonym Victor Appleton II. With colorfully decorated matte paper over boards & golden yellow spines/back covers, in 178 pages with a plain frontispiece, internals, & endpapers by illustrator Edward Moritz. From a single owner collection, it is exceptionally clean & bright, downgraded solely due to mild corner bumping & a few very faint spots to outside page edges. Else, completely clean, Covers bright, pages white & unmarked. Binding straight & strong, hinges intact. No DJ, as issued.
