Folio - 12" tall x 9" A FINE CONDITION Large Paperbound FOLIO (12" tall x 9") on heavy stock, with illustrated card covers, 28 pages, including 14 pages of full color reproductions of the paintings of TONG ZHENGANG. Includes both English language and Chinese language text. With an introduction (in English and Chinese) by Maggie Jie. Also includes at rear a 2 page ART RESUME OF ZHENGANG TONG in English, followed by several pages in Chinese. The colophon page at rear states: Studio Report of Tong Zhengang, but shows no exact publishing date (assumed date from Resume page is 1996) or other publisher information in English, except to note Translator Maggie Jie and Designer Guo QuanHong. A RARE ART MONOGRAPH. Zhengang Tong was born in August, 1959 in XinJiang Autonomous Zone in China, and graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is a member of the China Artists Association and China Calligraphers Association. .
