Containing 'The Horror of Incest', 'Taboo and Emotional Ambivalence', 'Animism, Magic and the Omnipotence of Thoughts', and 'The Return of Totemism in Childhood'.This collection of essays apply Freud's psychoanalytic work to the fields of anthropology and archaeology. Bound in the publisher's cloth. Externally, very good, with a little damp staining to the extremities, mainly to the head of the front board. Light offsetting to endpapers. Bookseller label to the front paste down. Dust wrapper is sound, with loss to the head of the spine and chipping to the extremities. Sunning to the spine, with the odd mark to the wraps, including a tide mark to the spine. Closed tears to the fly leaves. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
