Full leather binding with six gilt decorated compartments on the spine, title , author and date in gilt within red sections, front and back boards have school armorial in gilt with double ruled gilt borders, marbled endpaers and all edges gilt. x, 374 pages, 5 X 7.5 inches. Illustrated with engravings, Appendix on the fauna of Sutherland. Very good book with slight rubbing to extremes, corners a bit pushed in, and owners name and date (1909)on the blank fly leaf, along with: "Arith. Prize,div 9". Volume 2 only.. Second Edition.
