White spine with gilt lettering, brown paper-covered board with gilt lettering/decoration, black & gilt crest on front board, brown endpapers. 27 b&w plates with tissueguards bearing captions in red. An annotated timetable of the route taken by the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII/Duke of Windsor) on the Grand Trunk Railway through Ontario and Quebec in 1919. The Foreword gives a brief history of the Grand Trunk Railway/Grand Trunk Pacific Railway and the book closes with a list of directors, etc. of company. The illustrations show scenes in the areas through which the prince was to pass; towns, buildings, bridges, locomotives, etc. Does not contain pictures of the actual visit. Some separation between some page gatherings but still holding firmly in binding, one illustration page has a small edge tear archivally taped, several corner creases on two od the map folds, scattered very tiny foxing marks on gilt decoration - mainly near fore-edge of front board, minor soiling on boards.. Hard Cover. Very Good -/No Jacket.
