Sobre este artículo

New York: Payson & Clarke Ltd, 1927. Cloth. Very Good +. The presumed 1927 true 1st American edition, borrowing its sheets directly from the 1927 1st British edition ("translated from the thirtenth French edition and with an introduction by Frederick Etchells"). (Also, using "Printed in Great Britain by Richard Clay & Sons, Limited, Bungay, Suffolk" alone on the copyright page). A solid, presentable copy to boot: tight and VG to VG+ in its tan cloth, with publisher's clean blue stripe running vertically down the front panel. Fascinating, unidentified, very Decoish bookplate to the front pastedown, otherwise very clean internally. Quarto, dozens and dozens of black-and-white plates and line-drawings throughout.

Sinopsis

Vers une architecture, translated into English as Toward an Architecture and commonly known as Towards a New Architecture is collection of essays written by Le Corbusier (Charles-Edouard Jeanneret), advocating for and exploring the concept of modern architecture. The book has had an undeniable lasting effect on the architectural profession, serving as the manifesto for a generation of architects, a subject of hatred for others, and unquestionably a critical piece of architectural theory.
