Other edges untrimmed. Binding slightly soiled. Title page and all of the illustrations are mounted proof plates. Illustrations all by G. Pearson and J. Cooper after R.T. Pritchett. Single page chart. Overall a very good plus copy of the limited edition which is a much more elaborate production than the trade edition. Limited first edition. Copy 66/250. An account half-titled "14,000 Miles in the 'Sunbeam' in 1883", of a leisurely two-month cruise from England to Madeira,Trinidad,Venezuela,Jamaica,the Bahamas,and Bermuda,and then back to England via the Azores. The ship's artist was the marine illustrator (and gunmaker) Robert Taylor Pritchett; and the eleven passengers included Alice-in-Wonderland's younger sisters Rhoda and Violet Liddell and--briefly--the etcher (and J. M. W. Whistler's brother-in-law) Seymour Haden. 1885
