Marbled boards and matching marbling to page edges. Illustrated with full page engravings and vignettes. The picture on the listing page is of the actual books for sale. 2 vols VG+ hardbacks. The volumes are bound in brown half calf and been expertly recased retaining the original spine material with new black leather title labels. Minor foxing to prelims of Volume 1 (offsetting from the frontispiece engraving).
