Novel by Sinclair Lewis concerning the developing life of protagonist Carl Ericson. Sinclair Lewis was an American writer and playwright, the first US author to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1930. His works were often critical of American capitalism and materialism during the interwar period. Rebacked with the original spine and boards restored. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
