Sobre este artículo
Pacific Grove: Brooks/Cole Publishing Company, 1990 Intended to bridge the gap between calculus and advanced courses in at least three ways. First, it provides a firm foundation in the major ideas needed for continued work. Second, it guides students to think and to express themselves mathematically – to analyze a situation, extract pertinent facts, and draw appropriate conclusions. Finally, it presents introductions to modern algebra and analysis of sufficient depth to capture some of their spirit and characteristics. Condition notes: (xiii) 285 numbered pp; HB/no DJ. Pages: clean, bright, tight, yellow eps; t.e. mildly dusty. Cover: purple leather, cream titles front/spine; minimal shelfwear.

Our book rating standards are as follows; nearly all of our stock is VG or better: As New (AN)-just as states, clean, bright, tight, no defects. Fine-AN, but not as bright, minor marks or other minor defects. Very Good (VG)-small to modest tears, chips, marks, cocked etc. Good (G)-not so much, with larger tears or chips, possibly soiled, cocked, etc. Fair-ugly, with pages or large areas of DJ missing or other major defects. Poor(P)-truly ugly, disbound or requiring other major rehabilitation. We stabilize most minor defects with archival quality materials, and with few exceptions, these stabilizations are reversible
