Originally published in the UK in 1956 as "Episode" and later in the US as "Episode in the Transvaal", the book was banned in South Africa until August 1982, and here issued in the publisher's Africasouth Paperbacks series. The story, set in a small town in the Transvaal, deals with events leading up to a race riot. 320pp.. Paperback. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
