Great Piece as this book is Signed By The Author with a drawing and Signed to Rupert Von Trapp, who was the oldest child in The Sound of Music, played as "Friedrich" in the movie. Rupert became a Physician Doctor and died in 1992 at the age of 80. This book is inscribed to Rupert and his wife Janice, who died in 1996. This book also includes the seal on the title page of "RVT Library of Rupert Von Trapp, M.D.". Quite a collectible, as the Author/Artist also drew a picture of a bird with his inscription to the Von Trapps. Large Hardback of 88 pages is in Very Good condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. No writing or marks other than the stated inscription, drawing, and seal. Outside hardback covers are nice with some minor corner wear. REMEMBER THIS WAS OWNED BY THE OLDEST SON OF THE VON TRAPP FAMILY SINGERS OF THE SOUND OF MUSIC FAME! We all know "The Sound of Music".
