Gilt decoration to spine, marbled page edges and endpapers. Spine darkened and has slight rubbing to edges. Good solid binding, clean text throughout. Prize bookplate tipped in to front free endpaper (Edgehill Girls College, Bideford) dated 1904, previous owner's name stamp to corner of first blank. Includes the first printing of the diary of Annie Royle Taylor, who in 1892 became the first woman to travel into Tibet. Overall condition is Very Good. Size: 5.75 x 8.5 inches (15 x 21 cm). Hardback. Printed pages: 285
