"Fitzgerald spent two years exploring and mapping the coastline of British East Africa and provides a detailed study of his findings. While most of this effort reveals his analysis of the region's products, topography and peoples, there are a few scenes of sport including hunting hippopotamus on Lake Jelori and the Kilisi River, and lion near Mombasa" (Czech). Weddell was stationed in Zanzibar in 1909 with the American Consulate. Rubber stamp.
