All volumes newly rebound by Scott Kellar in matching tan canapetta cloth with gold-embossed French-split goatskin labels. A few interior pages with small archival repairs to tears in the margin, and minor scattered foxing. Vol. I: lxxx, 381 pages of text; six plates. Vol. II: [viii], 592 pages; three plates including one fold-out. Vol. III: [vi], 687 pages; three plates including one fold-out map. Vol. IV: [viii], [777] pages (misnumbered 775) followed by three sheets, printed on one side only, offering a "First Battle Observation" followed by a "Second" and a "Third." Illustrated with four plates including three fold-out battle plans/maps. The title page and index are included again (repeated), interspersed among the final leaves of text, and bound out of sequence. Vol. V: [viii], 496 pages. Vol. VI: Titled "Select Specimens of Natural History. Collected in Travels to Discover the Source of the Nile, in Egypt, Arabia, Abyssinia, and Nubia. xxiv, 286 pages, followed by [xvi] of index.
