Hardcover with slipcase: very good minus / very good minus. Book has leather spine with stamped lettering; boards covered in a sparkling gold linen; top edge of text block painted brown; map endpapers; 12393/1500; signed by Alexander King; spine darkened, and a little scratched; back exterior joint was split and glue-repaired--looks good; interior hinges: paper split but hinges are holding well; pages in excellent condition.. Slipcase covered in orange paper; toning; a little soiling; chips to spine..
