Bookplate on front pastedown. pp still quite supple. pp lightly spotted and marked throughout. Engraved frontis + 3 engraved plates. Owner's name dd July 29th 1777 on verso of frontis; occasional inked notes on title page, in foreword and contents, and title page of Pt I -- rest of book appears to be clear. Each section has a separate title page, expanding upon the basic detail in the main title page. ; 4to (8" X 11"); Fwd, cntnts, 1-291, 1-200, 1-114, Index pages .
