Many of these beautiful antiques, dating from the Ottoman period, were moved from the Dolmabahce Palace in the original capital, Istanbul. Includes an introduction, a section on the restoration and conservation project, and sections on the various types of pieces in the collection: porcelain and ceramics (including the exquisite Yildiz porcelain and Kutahya ceramics), glass and crystal, silver, sculpture, carpets, and furniture. A lavish catalogue which also includes glimpses of archival photographs of the presidential residences in Cankaya.
