Illustrated end pages, colour illustrated dust jacket; price clipped front fold over flap, 1.5 inch tear at the top left of the front panel and half an inch tear at the top right of the front panel, 1 inch tear at the bottom left of the rear panel, fading of the colour on the spine. No other damage to report. This is the first comprehensive collection of Australian folktales and traditions. There are tales of adventure, bushrangers, shipwrecks, ghosts, place names and place lore, and there is a wide selection of colonial ballads.
