From the private library of arborist H B Nicholson (signed on the frontispage). The spine has a Dewey classification label. The book has a clear plastic protective cover. This has mild wear. The boards are benevolent with some wear and storage marks. They are secure and sure. Within, the frontis and end papers are tanned and foxed and worn. The contents have some very, very occasional annotation. The text pages are foxed throughout. The illustration plates are clear and fresh. The pages are tight, certain, competent, confident. fk.
