London: Constable, 1936. First Edition. Hard Cover. First UK Edition, First Printing. Publisher's orange cloth with ornate blue lettering to the front board and spine. Cloth a little faded to the spine; text clear in firm binding. Blind-stamped to the rear paste-down: Harrods Ltd London January. The rear paste-down has a couple of small bits of paper residue possibly suggesting that this copy may have been part of the Harrods Library perhaps. Tipped in is note of apology to the Association for Moral and Social Hygiene regarding a reference on page 160 which might forgivably "be taken to reflect upon the reputation of the Association or those concerned with it".
