Sobre este artículo
Carswell, Donald, Editor. Trial of Ronald True. Edinburgh and London: William Hodge and Company, Ltd, [1925]. 295 pp. Frontispiece and four additional illustrated plates. Original red cloth with gilt lettered spine. Ex-library with property stamps on inside cover and small "Clifford, Elmer Books" label. Spine faded. Internally very good. Notable British Trials. "Ronald True early evinced signs of abnormality, which increased in later life when he became a drug addict, suffered from syphilis, and had two bad aeroplane crashes...Finally after living a vagabond life, True murdered a prostitute for her valuables...He was tried at the Central Criminal Court, found guilty and sentenced to death. This was later respited by the Home Secretary on the ground of insanity. A great outburst followed this decision...This case of insanity abounds in interest, especially in view of the medical defences put forward in many cases today.":

Sobre Sloane
I am selling the books my mother loved. She left instructions in her will that they were to be sold on to people who would love them as much as she did and not just given to a charity shop She was an avid reader of crime, particularly true crimes. She wasn't well-off and each of these books took a time to earn.
