Contemporary full calf with six spine compartments between double gilt rules; red morocco label in second compartment with gilt-tooled title. Inscription of former owner, Effe Debaun, on front free endpaper dated 1846. Shoemaker, Early American Imprints, 16621. In Very Good- Condition: leather is rubbed with slight loss at head of spine; corners are rubbed and bumped; lacking back free endpaper; small old damptain along lower fore-edge of title page and several leaves following; foxing throughout; otherwise clean and tight. Extremely scarce.
