Sobre este artículo

New York: Greenwillow Books, 1978. First printing. Very good plus in very good jacket.. Scarce inscribed first edition of this picture book by the author of THE SNOWY DAY, illustrated throughout with exceptional panoramic cityscapes and scenes from the protagonist's imagined Halloween plane flight. In 1983, THE TRIP was adapted for the stage as "Captain Louie" by Steven Schwartz (of Godspell, Pippin, and Wicked fame). The musical's sets and costumes were designed by Keats after his own illustrations, one of the artist's last completed projects before his untimely death later that same year. 8'' x 9.25''. Original pictorial boards. In original unclipped ($7.95) pictorial dust jacket. [32] pages. Inscribed "to Omar - with warmest regards" by Keats on front free endpaper. Mild wear and some bowing to boards. Moderate creasing and edgewear to jacket, with a couple tiny chips and short closed tears to extremities.
