Sobre este artículo

London: World Distributers. Predates the hardback editon by Andre Deutche, which was published in 1964, making this the correct UK first edition even though the publisher has stated, incorrectly, on the copyright page that it was originally published in Great Britain by Andre Deutche. This copy has some natural paperback ageing but judging by the absence of creasing and the spring of the pages it appears to be unread. Weysprings Books is a Member of: the IOBA and PBFA, and subscribes to the Associations' Codes of Ethics. . Near Fine. Paperback. First UK Edition, First Printing. 1963.

Sinopsis

Tristessa is a novella by Beat Generation writer Jack Kerouac set in Mexico City. It is based on his relationship with a Mexican prostitute (the title character). The woman's real name was Esperanza; Kerouac changed her name to Tristessa ("tristeza" means sadness in Spanish and Portuguese). This novel has been translated into Spanish by Jorge García-Robles, of Mexico City.
