Same size as the "cello" & "ugly" styles, smaller than the "deluxe." Bound in decorative matte paper with Trixie's "cameo" in top inner corner of front cover.Illustrated by Mary Stevens, in pages, brown chain link endpapers. Orig. published in 1951, copyright renewed in 1954, listing to "Arizona" in rear & "Black Jacket Mystery" on back cover. Hardcover book is in just Good condition: generally very clean, colors bright, binding strong & straight, though rear hinge & joint were cracked & reglued. Pages heavily tanned, particularly around edges. Old gift inscription dated1965 on back of ffep. Rubbing to extremities, heavier at both ends of spine(with some tiny tears) & all corners (down to underlying boards).
