FIRST PRINTING of the final book (#16) in the original run of the popular girl's series published 1948-1986. This is part of the fifth edition of the series published by Whitman beginning in 1970, affectionately know as "the uglies'' on the basis of their cover art by Larry Frederick. With decorative paper over boards, in 236 pages, endpapers depicting Trixie & 5 of her pals. Generally quite clean, but condition is downgraded to only Fair because the front & rear joints are split, with paper loss to both sides of spine backing & exposing underlying webbing in places. Pages moderately tanned, heaver to edges. Mild rubbing to extremities, heavier at lower spine. Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have!
