New York: Harper & Brothers, 1884. Hard Cover. Good/No Dust Jacket. With 150 Woodcut Illustrations and 4 Maps and Plans. Ex library with marks and stamps to endpapers and spine. Title page with a blind stamp and dedication page with call numbers. Pages edge worn and age toned, with some dampstains to top edge. Fold out plans present but heavily worn, one with extensive taped repairs. Blue cloth cover intact with edge wear. Spine ends quite worn, and spine edges split (cloth torn) at hinge on rear. 2 inch tear to top of spine has been inexpertly repaired with transparent tape. Decorative gilt illustration on spine intact (see image). 434 pages.
