Folio (9"x13"), pp. 43 [5]. Top edge gilt. Set in Caslon Old Face type and printed on Batchelor hand-made paper. Translated from the Greek into English by Francis Hicks and presented in parallel Greek and English texts with wood engravings by Robert Gibbings. -- Some uneven coloration of the leather on the front cover. Spine a darker in color than the sides. The slipcase has some wear around the extremities. No other notable defects. --. Colophon: Printed by Robert Gibbings at the Golden Cockerel Press, Waltham Saint Lawrence in Berkshire , and Completed on the 10th Day of November, 1927. The Text of the Greek, Set With the Assistance of the Oxford University Press, is that of the Jacobitz Edition (1852). Te English is Taken From the First Edition (1634), in the British Museum. Compositors: F. Young and a. H. Gibbs. Pressman: A. C. Cooper.
