[8], ix-lviii, 1-470 pp. Bound in light brown cloth with publishers device and lettering stamped in gold on the spine. Price of £18 Net on the front flap of the dust jacket. Dummett was one of the most important philosophers of the latter half of the twentieth century and made major contributions to the study of Frege and philosophy of language in general, as well as metaphysics and logic. An attractive copy of Dummett's first collection of papers, uncommon in the first edition. Some rubbing to the cloth, overall a sharp copy.
