Collated, complete.A stunning architectural study of Tudor houses, with some examples from later periods, illustrated with sketches in pen, pencil and drypoint, and photographs by the author Samuel Chamberlain, as well as measured drawings by Louis Skidmore. Chamberlain offers an interesting introduction on the subject, with examples from across England, including the Cotswolds, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, as well as many more northern and southern counties. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally sound, with faint marks to the boards, fading to the spine, and shelf wear to the extremities. A small hole to the backstrip. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
