This work has been edited by Alan Bullock with sections written by contributors that are specialists in those fields. This heavily illustrated work provides an account of the twentieth century from the development of technology and science to the arts and history. In the original publisher's cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely with only very minimal rubbing to the gilt lettering to the spine and to a corner to the rear board.
