Dark blue cloth on spine and corners with grey cloth over boards; gilt-stamped spine title. All page edges gilt. Imprint includes Charles Scribner's Sons, New York. No date of publication give. Most of the illustrations are from photographs taken by Frederick H. Evans; frontispiece is mounted. Title page printed in red and black. Includes index. Bookplate on front fixed endpaper of the Peabody Institute, Peabody, Mass., indicating that it was acquired through the Eben Dale Sutton Fund in 1916. Small oval stamp reading "E.D.S. Library, Peabody" in occasional lower corner. A heavy book; for international shipping, it will have to be sent by priority international. In Very Good Condition: grey cloth is soiled generally and has light purple stain on the back board; edges rubbed; occasional "E.D.S. Library, Peabody" stamp; otherwise, clean and tight.
