A. L. Burt, NY, 1932. Very Good/No Jacket. Octavo hardcover, VG in beige tweed boards with blut lettering. corners lightly bumped. No dj. Complete and Unabridged. 271pp. A well-written Max Brand western. The old Colt single-action, with its battered metal and filed sights looked as though it were good only for scrap. But there were 20 notches cut in the stock and Sleeper felt there was magic in it. A story with Western wind in it.
