The first leaflet is about Soviet silent film actress Olga Tretiakova (1900/1902?-?), known for Brigade Commander Ivanov (1923). She was also the secretary of the actors' subsection of ARK (the Association of Revolutionary Cinematography) which had been established to publicize the plight of actors. Tretiakova demanded that writers create good roles for actors and urged directors to discuss the roles with them. She was a wife of military leader Alexander Postnikov. During the Great Terror he was executed and Olga died in a camp.
OCLC locates two copies of this edition: in the Harvard Library and the Berlin State Library.
The second leaflet is about a Russian silent film actress Vera Malinovskaia (1900-1988) who debuted in 1924 and starred with Mary Pickford in 1927. The following year Malinovskaia starred in a German film Waterloo and stayed in Germany. She visited the USSR only once as a guest at the 11th Moscow International Film Festival in 1979. Malinovskaia died in Monaco.
