New York: William Morrow & Company. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1947. First Edition. Hardcover in jacket. This book is hard-bound in green cloth with black stamping on the upper cover and spine, in a dust jacket with light wear/a few closed tears to the edges, and wear/chipping to the corners and spine-ends, with a small hole torn in near the tail of the spine. The covers show some very light rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. The binding is solid. The contents are bright and clean. From the American First Editions collection of Donald C. Scriven (1948-2019). Don relished points of issue and the primacy of the dust jacket but above all he loved the literature! .
