New-York: Mahlon Day, 1834. Very good minus.. Apparent second edition of this moral tale of two little lambs named Peace and Inexperience. With charming verncular sewn spine repair. We can find no copies of this edition on OCLC. 5.5'' x 3.75''. Original blue pictorial wrappers. Full-page frontispiece to inner front wrapper, pictorial title page; six in-text woodcuts. 24 pages. Faded contemporary owner's name to front wrapper, "James B R." Contemporary owner's name to first page, "James B(?) Richardson." Same contemporary owner name to page 7, and "Moultonborough," a town in New Hampshire. Contemporary vernacular sewn repair to spine. Wrappers rubbed, with some edgewear and tiny spots of loss to spine. Leaves with some edgewear and scattered chipping, a few small spots of soil. Sound.
