Sobre este artículo
Doubleday, Page & Company, 1903. First Edition. Hardcover. 552 pages. Illustrated from more than 200 drawings by the author, a co-founder of the Boy Scouts of America. With focus on skills needed to live in the woods as well as tipi building and hide tanning. Though Seton sought to teach an appreciation of Native American culture, some of the language used is racist, beginning with the title. A very good copy with no dust jacket. In green cloth with gilt on the cover and spine, and illustrated endpapers. Former owner's gift inscription on first blank dated 1904.
