London: Faber and Faber, 1932. First Edition. Bound in pale green paper over boards with the spine lettered in blue. and orange paperdustjacket with bold dark blue lettering. Not price-clipped. Front and rear cover of dj complete with edgewear but missing the spine portion of the dj. Now nicely protected in Mylar. This is the true London First edition of this work. The subtitle on the title page reads 'Fragments from Work in Progress'. Work in progress was how Finnegans Wake was referred to before it was published. This volume contains two of the most famous and important parts of Finnegans Wake. The two stories are 'The Mookse and the Gripes' and 'The Ondt and the Gracehoper'. No inscriptions or flaws in the book. Clean and crisp.. First American Edition. Very Good/Fair.
