Very scarce T.L.S. 4to. 1 page, King Records, Cincinnati, Ohio, to Sid Prosen, songwriter and record label owner best remembered for discovering Hank Williams and later, Tom & Jerry, better known as Simon and Garfunkel, in full: "Received your letter of the 12th and as requested have had 75 of Hawkshaw Hawkins record #793 sent to your brother in Silver Springs, Maryland. Hope he can do some good in that territory with it." *Hawkshaw Hawkins stayed with Syd Nathan from 1947 until his death in a plane crash, March 5th 1963, with fellow label mate Cowboy Copas and Patsy Cline. Boldly signed using his rather rare full signature "Sydney Nathan".
