The second impression, as stated to the title page. Includes a preface by Victor Buxton. Undated, dated from Jisc.Illustrated with eighty monochrome plates and a folding map. Collated, complete. The map is disbound with prior owner's ink inscriptions to the verso. The plate facing page 54 is disbound. Prior owner's ink inscription to the first free endpaper dated 1913. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Prior owner's ink inscription from 1913 to the first free endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot. The map is disbound with prior owner's ink inscriptions to the verso. The plate facing page 54 is disbound. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
