Press clippings regarding the death of the author also glued to front endpapers. Green boards are scuffed and shelf worn. Title in gilt to spine. Previous owner's stamp to front eps and title page, along with inscription to previous owner reading "To Neta, Wishing You Every Happiness on your Birthday 11th June 1945, from Freddy on front eps. Pocket attached to rear eps containing foldout map (which has foxing). Some small patches of cloth mssing to boards; folded map to the inside as well; previous owner's name stamped to fep. and title page.. Signed by Author. Hard Cover. Fair. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
