Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and heavier to text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Damp staining to front free end paper at fore edge. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding is shaky. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge-wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Tape repaired to reverse.
