It's a book about having a cat. It's not about owning a cat - the cat owns you. You, the human, are the cat's "pink blob". He only tolerates you because he can't open a can of food. The first half of this slim book is fall off your chair funny, the second part is more serious. I owned this before Katt decided to live with us and reread it after we had 3 cats. It was equally funny BC (Before Cats) as AC........... And useful.
