Author's first novel, Published in America under the title "Deadly Image". Softening to the backstrip edges with bumping of the book corners and rubbing of the lower book edges. The spine is quite noticeably cocked. White marks to the book panels with Browning, Marks and faint foxing to the textblock edges. Offset tanning faint foxing to the endpapers with staining along the lower edges of the front endpapers. Surprisingly only light age toning of the pages. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. There is a 2.5 " tear to the top dustwrapper edge with numerous other small tears along the top edge and a small tear to the lower left-hand corner of the same panel. Sunning to the backstrip with browning and handling marks to the rear dustwrapper panel. The front fold over crease has become patchy. The front fold over has been torn the complete length, approximately half of the fold over is missing. Dustwrapper now protected. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [8], 9-223, [1] pages..
